Wanderlist: 28 Degrees Byron Bay
Chic mosquito repellant, the comfiest seat I ever sat in, and more.
Around this time last year, I stayed at 28 Degrees Byron Bay (PR guest with no obligation to write this), a meticulously decorated, deliciously luxurious guesthouse just a few footsteps from the beach (or more importantly in my case: margaritas).
I would very much like to go back, please.
Everything is so considered throughout without feeling fussy or stuffy (although yes, I did think twice about drinking coffee on the white couch – more on this below).
The gracious founder and host Deb Garske has a background in interior design, and has carefully curated the guest rooms (complete with private plunge pools) as well as the communal main house. I loved her attention to detail, pointing out this female artist here and a local treasure there.
As well as literally the chicest, comfiest couch (pictured above; ) I’ve ever sat/read/cautiously drank coffee on, there was a much more accessible ritual I loved.
