Hello! Welcome to this simple, lightly curated round-up of tabs I have sitting open. This article is for all subscribers, free and paid – yay!
If you enjoy this freebie, would you consider being a paid subscriber to receive a couple of articles from me each week? Each Sunday I send Life Curriculum, a curated version of Open Tabs with suggestions for reading, watching, listening, making and doing. You can get a trial for 7 days to try before you buy.
I didn’t know I wanted to renovate an Airstream.
Maybe it’s the black and white awning. Maybe it’s the tartan cushions or the brass sconces. Maybe it’s how much I relate to this sentence:
“[Shea] likes hiking and going outside but likes to stay in a hotel.”
But I have to admit that this Airstream reno tour has me thinking how fun it would be to “camp” like this.
I’ve loved Shea McGee’s simple but chic decorating aesthetic for a few years, so if anyone could convince me, it would be her. In saying that, considering the Airstream is currently for sale, perhaps she wasn’t even able to convince herself in the end.
The simplest lunch idea for WFH days.
Omelets/omelettes have eluded me for years. I’ve just never quite made them work, so have just stuck to scrambled or poached – but watching this video that breaks it down has me feeling game (although doubtful of how nonstick my current frying pan still is).
Fill it with veggies for an American-style omelet, or keep it extremely simple for a French one – what’s your preference?
Mixing up my workout routine.
I got into a bit of a rut without my exercise – mostly just going to Reformer Pilates classes that are close to my apartment. But I rediscovered ClassPass last month, and have been trying to go to a different class each week.
So far I’ve tried aerial yoga, aerial pilates, ballet cardio, and a STRONG class (rowing/pilates combo). So… not majorly different to my usual, but it’s still been nice to mix things up. Maybe I’ll try boxing or pole dancing next!
This is a genuine endorsement, but ClassPass has a great referral program. If you use this link, you’ll get their best free trial offer, and I’ll get a discount on my future membership.
In case you missed it…
Did you get the last Open Tabs? It’s here.
I shared my experience at Bianca, as well as a bunch of links to recreate the date night at home.
We’re celebrating spring with a green mood board, which isn’t ground-breaking, but still feels good.
Life Curriculum continues to come out each Sunday.
