Matchbooks and photos of matchbooks.
I came across this brand ($-$$$) through
and now want one of each. A whole wall of matchbook photos! I’m not even sure if all of the matchbooks they photograph are real or not – I just know it rekindled my love of vintage matchbooks and had me scrolling through eBay for an hour before I realised what I was doing. The sweetest candleholders.
I saw these on Anna Page’s Instagam, and clicked right through. I think they’re styled better in her Reel than they are on the company’s website ($$), but that’s Anna Page for you… I need more candle sticks and candles in my life, I’ve decided.
How to fix your stuff (an antidote to BFCM).
I came across this article in Vox, which includes, basically, just a long list of ways to fix your stuff – from clothes to furniture to appliances. It felt like a nice antidote to all the BFCM emails I’m getting at the moment.
I feel very aware that my window shopping for this Substack can sometimes seem like I’m recommending you go out and buy a whole bunch of stuff, which is truly not my intention. I love beautiful things, but I don’t always need to own them or buy them new. I just want them to be an inspirational jump-off point for filling your life with beautiful little things and experiences that make you happy.
In case you missed it…
I went on an imaginary date night to Maison Premiere in Brooklyn.
In the second instalment of Wanderlist, I am mentally hanging out in the Majorca Martini Suite in Melbourne.
I spent hours thinking about what I consider my fridge essentials and then my home bar essentials in the Biased Guide Series.
Life Curriculum continues to come out each Sunday.
