For $32, I’m not sure why I’m waiting.
I love crepes. I love pancakes. Why am I holding out on spending $32 on this crepe pan ($)? Am I concerned it’s too cheap? But the reviews are great! I’ve already proven to myself that I do, in fact, season my carbon steel pans and I don’t mind hand-washing (some) things.
Perhaps it’s just that it feels indulgent to have such a specific pan in a small apartment kitchen. And so, for some reason, this remains an open tab…
Stylish stationery for jotting down notes.
I just came across these hotel notepads ($) in
’s . All based on fictional places, they are so whimsical and sweet.A set of three small, functional notepads – just the sort of thing you find by the telephone in most lodgings. The difference is that these are places you can never go.
My siblings would appreciate the “horror set” ($) featuring Camp Crystal Lake from Friday The 13th, Bates Motel from Psycho, and the Overlook Hotel from The Shining. Of course they would.
A new (to me) artist to watch.
When I saw Sarah Mari Shaboyan’s work in
’s recent newsletter, it instantly reminded me of Miroslav Sasek’s This is… series. Her use of colour and line is fantastic – all with just marker pens and coloured pencils. Look at the way she does interior scenes! Will be following her closely, for sure.In case you missed it…
Did you get the last Open Tabs? It’s here.
We’re ushering in a period of vitality and vibrancy with this October moodboard and links round-up.
I spent hours collating a list of what I consider my fridge essentials, from my grocery items to those I meal prep each week.
Life Curriculum continues to come out each Sunday.
